The carrier type of a reduced term: a value-bearing leaf's ::value type, propagated through Meet / Join composites (a subterm that did not collapse, e.g. Join of two ≤-incomparable elements of a bit-subset lattice), or void when the carrier is unknown (an order-opaque leaf) or inhomogeneous. A composite propagates a carrier only when both children agree on a known one, so a nested mixed-carrier term (at any depth) is void and fails the SameCarrier guard below (fail-closed recursively).
